A Place to call home (page)

Well, here it is. Homepage. I don't remember exactly when I had my first website. I'm guessing it was close to a decade ago, maybe even more if Myspace counts. Over the years it's taken on many different incarnations, and they all had one thing in common... I didn't make them. That fact had it's benefits and detriments, the fact that it existed and the fact that it was rarely updated (respectively.) A good friend of mine donated a good amount of time and energy on my last set up, and it looked great, but I was always a bit lost when I tried to step in and do anything. So I've decided to make my own, for better (more updated info and hopefully more frequent blogs) and worse (I'm not a website designer).

All that being said, welcome to my new website! I'm excited to have a place to call I know I already used that joke but I couldn't help it. These days, with all of the social media platforms we all use, it will be nice to have a place to anchor everything.

It will also be nice to have a blog so I can keep you all up to date on the goings on. I probably use Twitter the most, followed by Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc, but once I say something on one of those I'm not always the best at making sure it makes it to all the other platforms. Be sure to follow me here for the most comprehensive info.

For instance, incase you don't already know, I'll be playing some shows with Rob Benedict, Billy Moran, Rob Humphreys and Tyler Carroll (Tyler's stepping in because Cooper couldn't make it this time, but he'll be back with us at The Hotel Cafe on March 11th.) Our band The Station Breaks is going on tour in Germany, Amsterdam, and London starting this Tuesday. Tix & info can be found at right after that I'll be heading to Nashville for Creation Entertainment's NashCon, and then March 11th The Station Breaks will be back at The Hotel Cafe.

I'll try to keep ya'll updated from the road, but I'm still easing back into the blog thing so let's not expect a miracle just yet!
